Ash's Lament 05:04
The pale white moon hangs in the sky. The fog on the hills grows thicker by night. I see, I see so many changes in you. That darkness in your eyes, God if you only knew. Screams are coming from the basement. Eyes are rolling back in the head. Blood comes from between the teeth, As they sink into the skin. It follows you, It follows you. Vines creep between your thighs, And oh how it they penetrate. It splinters deep inside, This is where is congregates. Milky red comes from your mouth, Milky red on the floor. She sings the sweetest song, Once you’ve never heard before. Screams are coming from the basement. Eyes are rolling back in the head. Blood comes from between the teeth, As they sink into the skin. It follows you, It follows you. Put the gun to the back of her head, The love you had is no more (X3) It follows you It follows you It follows you It follows you

The sun was setting on a lonely southern desert. A lonely cabin nipped its heel. So dimly lit this cabin in the moonlight, a lonely widow cooked a meal. She cut herself on a dull ragged bone knife, Throwing pratties into the pot. Then a loud bang and some fire in the attic, Sent the widow into a shock. She ascended the shaky wooden staircase, Like Jacob's ladder to the sky, And atop a shining little saucer. The widow can't believe her eyes. She watched as the door opened up, And little robots do descend. She grabbed the knife but the stinging of the ray guns, Made her think this was the end. She ran down the stairs and barricaded the doors, But the fiends they ignored the ban. She looked at her burns and she fell into a deep fright, She new she was at the heel of the tiny robot men. For seven hours she fought off the invaders, They're attacking her from every side. She's murdered one, but she knows there is another. Pretty soon she's going to die. She watched as the final one ran, Into the ship to get away. She smashed it up but she saw a tiny symbol, The symbol spelled out U.S.A. She ran down the stairs and barricaded the doors, But the fiends they ignored the ban. She looked at her burns and she fell into a deep fright, She new she was at the heel of the tiny robot men.

Bloody towels on the basement floor, Sheep ain’t screaming outside no more, ‘Cause mama done died in the basement, Mama done died in the basement. Daddy got a new wife, Daddy got a new life, Daddy got a…. Daddy got a hammer and a nail, Daddy got a hammer and a nail, Daddy got a hammer and a nail Hammer and a nail Hammer and a nail. In a fit of blind rage he swung left and right, Mama didn’t stand no chance. He got out the nails from his tool box, And one by one he lodged them in. We tore up the linoleum, We burned all her clothes, We wiped up her blood with a pair of my cotton hose. We poured the bleach to cover up the smell, Of mama’s last words telling daddy to go to hell. Daddy got a hammer and a nail, Daddy got a hammer and a nail, Daddy got a hammer and a nail Hammer and a nail Hammer and a nail. He drug mama up the stairs, Took her to the car, Rolled her down to that muddy river, Said you ain’t gonna see your mama no more. Mama climbed out of the muddy river, Blood streaming down her skin. She grabbed daddy’s old revolver, And pointed it at him. She said, “You ain’t getting away so easy. If I’m going down then you’re coming with me”. Mama got a hammer and a nail, Mama got a hammer and a nail, Mama got a hammer and a nail, Hammer and a nail, Hammer and a nail.
